The supporting CRIme reSolution Through Artificial INtelligence (CRISTAIN) workshop explores the use of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and augmented reality, to support those working in the field of criminal investigation. The initiative aims to introduce new methodologies that can enhance current investigative practices by providing practical and intuitive tools for professionals in the field. Through discussion and dialogue among participants, the workshop can foster the identification of effective solutions to support the management of the investigation process.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal, conference, or workshop. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Short paper: 5 - 9 pages
Important dates
- Paper submission deadline: September 5th
- Paper acceptance notice: September 12nd
- Camera-ready submission: September 22nd
Publication
CRISTAIN 2025 proceedings will be published in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings (http://ceur-ws.org/), which is indexed by Scopus.
Venue
The workshop will be held in conjunction with the conference CHItaly 2025 in Salerno, Italy.
