The Women in Bioinformatics Workshop is an interdisciplinary event that brings together researchers from fields such as computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, biology, genomics, biotechnology, and chemistry to showcase their work in bioinformatics. The workshop is organized by women, and the invited speakers are women who are leaders in their respective areas of bioinformatics research. While the focus is on promoting women in the field, abstract submissions and participation in all sessions are open to researchers of all genders, fostering an inclusive and diverse scientific community.
