About the Conference

The International Conference on Sustainable Energy & Smart Technologies (ICSEST-2026) invites original research contributions from academics, industry professionals, policymakers, practitioners, and students working at the intersection of sustainable energy, smart technologies, business, economics, governance, and society.

ICSEST-2026 provides an international platform to present innovative research, exchange applied knowledge, and build interdisciplinary collaborations that advance low-carbon development, digital transformation, and resilient energy systems globally.

Conference Theme & Scope

The conference focuses on advancing sustainable energy systems through smart and green technologies, responsible innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Submissions are encouraged that integrate engineering solutions with economic viability, business strategy, regulatory frameworks, and measurable social impact.

ICSEST-2026 welcomes theoretical research, applied engineering studies, policy-oriented analyses, and real-world case investigations that demonstrate technical rigor, economic relevance, and societal value.

2. Smart Grids & Intelligent Power Systems - Smart grid architectures and digital control; power electronics and advanced converters; energy storage systems and integration; grid stability, protection, and reliability.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Digital Energy Technologies - AI and machine learning for energy optimization; forecasting and decision support; digital twins and intelligent monitoring; automation and cyber-physical energy systems; big data analytics and emerging computing applications.

4. Intelligent Infrastructure & Energy Management - Smart buildings and smart cities; Internet of Things (IoT) applications; intelligent energy management systems; integrated urban and infrastructure platforms.

5. Engineering & Applied Sciences for Sustainability - Electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering; modeling, simulation, and optimization; advanced materials and emerging energy technologies; reliability, safety, and performance assessment.

6. Business, Trade & Sustainable Economics - Sustainable business models; energy markets, trade, and cross-border systems; economics of renewable energy and smart infrastructure; investment, financing, and risk analysis; innovation management and commercialization.

7. Policy, Governance & Regulatory Frameworks - Energy policy and regulatory design; market mechanisms and incentives; standards, compliance, and governance; policy–technology–market interactions.

8. Social, Environmental & Interdisciplinary Studies - Social acceptance of energy transitions; equity, inclusion, and access; environmental impact and climate resilience; ethical, institutional, and cultural dimensions; interdisciplinary approaches linking technology and society.

Submission Types

For conference presentation, only an accepted abstract is required. Full paper submission is optional and recommended for publication review.

Review Process

  • Double-blind peer review
  • Each submission reviewed by at least two independent reviewers
  • Evaluation based on originality, technical quality, relevance, and clarity

Publication & Indexing

After successful registration and presentation, accepted papers will be considered for publication based on reviewer and Scientific Committee recommendations.

1. Springer Nature – Scopus Indexed

Selected papers will be published in a Springer proceedings volume indexed in Scopus.

2. Sponsored Peer-Reviewed Journals

Only top-quality papers recommended by reviewers and approved by the Editorial Board will be invited for journal publication.
