ICEER 2026 is a joint organization of the School of Engineering (ISEP) of the Polytechnic of Porto (P.Porto) and SCIEI, and will be held at Porto, Portugal during July 15-17, 2026.The objective of ICEER 2026 is to function as a platform where engineers, researchers, and specialists from academic institutions, research centers, and industries worldwide can converge to discuss and present the latest advancements and applications pertinent to the challenges posed by energy and environmental research. The primary areas of interest at ICEER encompass, but are not limited to, Energy, Environment, and Education for Sustainable Development.

Submission Guidelines

Reviewing Procedure

1)The paper selection will follow a double-blind review process, meaning that both the authors and reviewers will remain anonymous during the paper selection process

2)Submitted manuscripts will conduct an initial screening by plagiarism checker.

3)Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by an ICEER Scientific Technical Committee that covers the topic of the manuscript.

4)Submissions are rated by the committee members based on (i) originality (ii) design novelty (iii) advancement within the field and (iv) technical quality. Authors should provide clear evidence of what is novel in their work and/or the extent to which it advances the state-of-the-art. Many submissions will be stronger in novelty or advancement, so both are equally weighted by the committee. A high level of technical quality and clarity is a requirement for all submissions.

Publication

Reviewed and registered papers after the appropriate presentation will be published in Environmental Science and Engineering as a proceedings book volume, which will be indexed by EI Compendex, SCOPUS, SCImago, Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, etc. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published.
